"No, no, no!,"  the older man said with an exaggerated sway of the head.  "Watch me one more time."

"O.k. Adam but I still think I'm doing it right.  Well, right as I can do with my left anyways," the younger boy answered with a forelorne look.

Adam took his stance again and shot three times hitting two of the three bottles earlier placed on the rocks. 

Without a word Little Joe took his stance and two shots rang out as he tried for the remaining three.  No bottles stood unbroken.  The look of accomplishment in the younger did not go un-noticed by the elder. 

"C'mon, we'll be late for supper," Adam mumbled as he walked towards the waiting horses.  He knew his job as teacher, as far as shooting was concerned, had come to an end.
