Summary: When Little Joe becomes very sick Adam opts to
take him to a doctor in Boston, but Ben is unsure about it, however when Paul
explains that it might be Joe's last chance the two brothers make the trip.
When they get there, they soon discover there's so much more in the world
than just their ranch. The two think about many things. There are four new
characters in this story, two of which will be Adam and Joe's wives. The
general date is June 1865, approximately two months after the Civil War ended.
