middle of the desert, without an outhouse in sight, what else can you
do, except go behind the nearest bush?"
"Aw, we know that, Pa, but it's jest, well, you're our Pa, and Pas
are
above doin' things the rest of us do, cos you're, well, better than
us," said Hoss.
Ben laughed.
"Well, thank you for that elevation, but I can assure you my plumbing
works just the same as yours does."
